Meet Juan G., Project Manager at Tru Colors Contracting. Juan has been with Tru Colors Contracting close to two years and started here as a Pressure Cleaning Crew Leader. He recently moved into the role of Project Manager at Tru Colors. Prior to working at Tru Colors Contracting, Juan had his own pressure cleaning company in South Florida. Juan also worked for several other local area paint companies prior to this.

Born and raised in Bogota, Columbia, Juan attended school and college in Bogota. He moved to South Florida 18 years ago. I was regularly visiting my mother, who lived here in America and decided to stay here… that was 18 years ago, noted Juan.


Juan has been happily married to his wife for the past 14 years. The two have a 13-year old son and the three reside locally in the Plantation area. Juan loves to travel with his family and loves to travel anywhere there is a beach. I don’t like cold weather and I don’t like snow, so wherever there is a beach, I am happy. Juan also lists some of the South Florida beaches as his favorites.

An avid sports fan and all-around athlete, Juan is a Martial Arts enthusiast and holds a belt in the field. He also enjoys playing soccer and played on soccer leagues during his academic year in Bogota and here in South Florida. Juan lists the South American Boca Juniors soccer team and New England Patriots as his favorite sports teams. “I like all kinds of sports, maybe with the exception of golf,” noted Juan. ESPN is his favorite network to watch on television. He is also a big fan of the Miami Heat and the Florida Panthers. Juan also has been involved in amateur fighting too.


Juan most enjoys being around the individuals that he works with, notably his coworkers and customers. “I love the interaction with our customers here at Tru Colors, and the different persons I come in contact with every day,” added Juan.
